Which lights for which space?
| Space | Usual choice |
|---|---|
| Rooms and kitchens | LED battens, surface or recessed panels, downlights |
| Shops and offices | 2×2 LED panels, downlights, track lights |
| Warehouses and godowns | High-bay fittings, battens on long runs |
| Compounds, roads and gates | LED street lights, flood lights |
| Bathrooms and outdoors | Fittings with a suitable IP (water/dust) rating |
What should I check on an LED light?
- Wattage and lumens — lumens is the actual light output; compare lumens, not just watts.
- Colour temperature — warm white (about 3000 K) for living spaces, cool daylight (about 6500 K) for work areas.
- IP rating — IP65 or higher for outdoor street and flood lights.
- Surge protection — useful for outdoor fittings on long lines with voltage fluctuation.
Which fan should I buy?
Ceiling fans are sized by sweep — 1200 mm suits most rooms; larger halls may need 1400 mm or two fans. BLDC fans use much less power than standard fans and work well on inverters. Exhaust fans for kitchens and bathrooms are chosen by size and airflow. Fan regulators must match the fan type — BLDC fans usually come with a remote.
How do I order lighting and fans?
Send your list on WhatsApp — a photo of a handwritten list is fine. We reply with an itemised quotation showing brand, size and price, and confirm what is ready to go.
Quick answers
Which LED colour is best for a home?
Warm white (around 3000 K) is comfortable for bedrooms and living rooms; cool daylight (around 6500 K) suits kitchens, study areas and work spaces.
Do you supply street lights and flood lights?
Yes — LED street and flood lights for compounds, roads, warehouses and tea garden premises. Tell us the area and pole height for a suggestion.
