We supply modular switch ranges from Havells, Crabtree, Anchor, Roma, Legrand, Goldmedal and others — switches, sockets, dimmers, fan regulators, plates and boxes. Send a room-by-room list or your electrician's point count and we will quote the whole house in one range.
How does a modular switch system work?
Modular switches are built from three parts: the back box in the wall, a support frame, and the modules (switches, sockets, regulators) that clip into it, finished with a cover plate. Plates come in sizes counted in modules — 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and more. Boxes, frames and plates must be the same size and, ideally, the same brand.
Which rating do I need for each point?
| Point | Usual module |
|---|---|
| Lights and fans | 6 A / 10 A switch |
| General sockets | 6 A socket, or 6/16 A combined |
| AC, geyser, microwave, induction | 16 A or 20 A switch with 16 A socket |
| Fans | Step or electronic fan regulator |
| TV / data | TV, telephone or RJ45 data modules |
Heavy loads should be on their own circuit with the right MCB and wire size — see our house wire size guide.
How do I choose between ranges?
Most brands offer a basic range and one or more premium ranges with different finishes, colours and plate materials. Decide the look first, then check the range has every module you need (USB sockets, dimmers, bell push, indicators). Keeping one range across the house makes replacements easy later.
How do I order switches?
Send your list on WhatsApp — a photo of a handwritten list is fine. We reply with an itemised quotation showing brand, size and price, and confirm what is ready to go.
Quick answers
What is the difference between 6 A and 16 A switches?
6 A switches are for lights, fans and small sockets. 16 A (or 20 A) switches are for heavy loads like ACs, geysers, microwaves and induction cooktops.
Can I mix modules from different brands?
It is not recommended. Modules, frames and plates are designed to fit within one brand and range; mixing usually leaves gaps or loose fittings.
Can you quote a full house of switches?
Yes. Send the point count room by room, or a photo of your electrician's list, and the range you like. We will quote modules, plates and boxes together.
Which modular switch brands do you have?
We supply Havells, Crabtree, Anchor, Roma, Legrand, Goldmedal and Schneider modular ranges. Ask on WhatsApp for current ranges and finishes.
